The answer is NO. Why?
Coronavirus (COVID 19) is a respiratory infection, which spreads through droplets transmitted in the air or by coming in contact of infected surfaces. There is no connection as to how the  corona virus  can stay on Raw chicken, mutton or fish meat and make it unfit for eating. The same is true for eggs vegetable and fruits.

it doesn’t help If you have to give up on non-vegetarian, dairy, or meat product. The family of corona viruses need a human to latch and develop on to and simply cannot grow in food or vegetable. Though it can stay on the surface of Meat, Vegetable, Fruits, If an infected person has come in contact with these things. So it is always recommended that any Chicken, Mutton, Fish or Vegetable should undergo proper cleaning cooking process of 100 degrees Celcius to kill most germs and illness-causing viruses including coronavirus.

In fact, It is believed that no food is actually unsafe, as long as you cleaned it properly and cooked it thoroughly. Cooking kills all germs and viruses.

The COVID-19 virus is usually transmitted through direct contact with an infected person’s body fluids like from coughing, sneezing, spitting or indirectly through contact with contaminated surfaces. Corona viruses need a host and cannot grow in food or another medium.

As far as food is concerned(Veg or Non-veg), there is no evidence that food can be a route of transmission of the virus if not come in contact with an infected person. So eating non-vegetarian food is perfectly safe if you have cooked it properly. However, we can take extra precautions to make sure that chicken, mutton and fish meat is washed and cooked thoroughly at a high temperature for 30 minutes. Hygienic practices must also be followed before consuming raw fruits and vegetables as they may be contaminated and the virus can survive without heating or proper washing. We can also avoid going to shops and market as a precautionary habit for the time being until the coronavirus pandemic is controlled completely.

So we can say that consumption of any kind of meat, Chicken, mutton and Fish doesn’t pose any risk if you wash them and cook them properly. But we must take precaution. All kinds of meat should be properly washed and properly cooked.

If you ensure that the food passes through proper hygiene and quality checks, is washed and cooked properly, you should be guaranteed that what you are eating Veg or non-veg is absolutely safe for eating. There is currently no evidence shows by the WHO or other agency that meat or vegetable is a likely source of transmission of the corona virus.
